About the Opportunity

Genpact seeks a Cloud Platform Engineer with good AWS infrastructure, automation, and DevOps skills, who will be charged with developing and maintaining secure cloud systems that run in a scalable fashion using cloud-native latest tools. If you are passionate about building infrastructure as code, CI/CD and performance tuning in the cloud, this could be your opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploying & managing cloud infrastructure leveraging core AWS services namely EC2, Lambda, RDS, VPC, S3 etc to.... create a strong, reliable scale platform.
• Automating all Infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD via GitHub actions, Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline also automating the testing and deployment of applications.
• Dealing with containerized tools or applications i.e. Docker, Kubernetes (EKS) and deployment using ansible chef or puppet.
• Have security best practices and compliance goals using IAM, KMS, Security Groups.
• Monitor and examine data needs using CloudTrail or the ELK Stack, with an emphasis on speed, scaling, and reliability.
• Observe your infrastructure and application's health using dashboard tools or customized alerting from CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or using ELK for your observability stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Need 8 plus years of professional experience working with enterprise infrastructure, and AWS cloud services.
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid experience with containerization & orchestration using Docker and Amazon EKS.
• Experience with any scripting language such as Python, Bash or Powershell.
• Good understanding of AWS security best practices, and with networking components such as VPC, Direct Connect, and Route 53.
• Experience with monitoring and log management solutions in AWS environment.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
