Senior Solutions Architect

Role Overview

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll be a trusted technical advisor to GitLab prospects and customers across Central EMEA. You'll guide organizations through their DevSecOps transformation — from planning through monitoring — working closely with Account Executives to drive technical evaluations, shape solution architectures, and build long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validations of GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform
• Own the full technical evaluation process — POC/POV, workshops, solution design, tenders, and value stream assessments
• Collaborate with Account Executives across Central EMEA on account strategies for new acquisition and expansion
• Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders; help them become GitLab advocates
• Advise customers on CI/CD, security, cloud practices, and modern software development
• Relay customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
• Create reusable technical collateral, best practice guides, and examples for customers and partners

Requirements

• 8+ years in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing roles
• Strong understanding of end-to-end SDLC and modern DevSecOps/CI/CD practices
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable SCM, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing — deployment, security, and operations
• Experience running POCs, POVs, workshops, and value stream assessments
• Strong communication skills — able to present to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
• Ability to build trusted relationships and act as a customer advocate internally
