DevOps Engineer (Python Scripting) – Thryve Digital | 6–12 Yrs

Job Description

Thryve Digital, a technology arm under Highmark Health is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Python Scripting) for their offices in Chennai and Hyderabad. This is a hybrid position for individuals who have experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation (6-12 years of experience). 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve DevOps workflows and channels throughout the organization. 
• Implement and improve upon DevOps best practices and deployment plans. 
• Set-up and maintain continuous build and integration environments. 
• Work with operations and development to manage technical issues. 
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and platform performance. 
• Oversee technical operations and support incident perspectives. 
• Provide recommendations for improvement in DevOps processes and operational practice. 
• Lead and support teams with emphasis on ownership and accountability.

Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with python scripting, Unix, GCP, and terraform 
• Strong GitLab SaaS experience, CI/CD using GitLab YAML, OpenShift 
• Basic knowledge of build tools: Maven and Gradle 
• Familiarity with some DevOps tools e.g. Chef, Puppet, Docker 
• Automation experience, middleware configuration, service provision experience 
• Experience in 24x7 cloud/SaaS operational environments 
• Analytical and problem solving skills 
• Experience of CI/CD implementations for mainframe, Java, and database application 
• Independent contributor and collaborative team player 
• Proven leadership and team handling skills.
