DevOps Engineer Job at Globalsoft | GKE, CI/CD, Cloud Automation

Job Description

Globalsoft is currently recruiting a DevOps Engineer with solid systems engineering experience and a good grasp of modern Cloud Operations. A successful candidate must have experience around managing infrastructure with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing observability and monitoring software.

You will help ensure our cloud infrastructure performance, availability and scalability using automated solutions and carrying out best practices in DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Use GKE to create, implement, and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Set up and run CI/CD pipelines so that deployment is reliable and consistent.
• Automate tasks related to infrastructure and operations with IaC tools like Terraform.
• Look into issues with the infrastructure and services.
• Keep production settings up to a high standard of performance, security, and availability.
• Work with teams from different departments to make deployment and release processes better.

Required Skills

• Good Hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience in cloud infrastructure management and automation
• Scripting experience (e.g., Shell, Python, or similar languages)
• Good knowledge of networking, containerization, and fixing problems with systems
