6Orion is Hiring a Cloud Engineer

About the role

We're looking for someone to help us design, build, and manage a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. As part of this role, you will ensure that the systems we build meet our performance goals and are available and reliable for our customers. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with the development team, as well as operational teams, to optimize cloud environments, support application deployment, and implement cloud security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement strong, scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage cloud environments and ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement solutions in advance.
• Work with developers for deployment related tasks.
• Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance and provide support.
• Monitor cloud resources and optimize for best cost and performance.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery and system reliability procedures.

Required Qualifications

Hired if they can prove that they have the following experience:

• Strong experience in software development and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing experience, especially AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience as a Linux System Admin.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL database management and tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work remotely or in a location-distributed environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
